The sample. Read the work before you order it.
A complete acquisition landscape for one market: the report and the spreadsheet behind it, built as yours would be. Its independent practices are shown as Practice A to Practice Y, because they are the acquisition targets; your report names every practice in your market. Here is what it shows and how to read it.
What it shows
- Who owns what. Every location in the market, by owner: platform, public company, health system, joint venture, other corporate or independent. Physician-owned groups are shown as their own owner type, and the company-owned share is given with and without them.
- Who is left to buy. Every independent, with its owner type, its locations here and elsewhere, the clinicians on the registry, and whether any sign of outside capital was found. Their names, addresses and evidence come with the order.
- The spreadsheet behind it. Every row with its source and the date it was read.
How to read it
Every owner, and how we know.
Independent
A business reads Independent only when two independent public sources show it. Related practices are counted as one business.
Independent, with signs
Every Independent row also lists any sign of outside capital we found and how we followed it. Where a sign of outside money was followed and neither tied to an owner nor ruled out, the row reads Independent, with signs.
Not verified
An owner we cannot verify from public sources is marked Not verified, with what we checked. It is never guessed.
Platform, public company, health system, joint venture, other corporate
Each location is tied to its owner by the owner's own location list and the public record, and every row carries its source and the date it was read.
The proof pages
Two rows, source by source.
The last two pages of the sample show how an Independent row is proven, its name masked, and how a company-owned row is proven, source by source, so you can see how each answer was reached. Two of its independents are named in our reply so you can check our work.
The evidence behind any row, source by source with the date it was read, is available on request. For the sample, name any named row and we send its evidence before you order.
How to ask for it
